You may or may not be aware that every year local village Ardingly plays host to one of the largest agricultural shows in the South East. The South of England show commences early June every year, and as a long serving customer of CFA we were again asked to keep the showgrounds facilities clean and working. The show was carried out on the 9th, 10th and 11th of June this year so as you can imagine last week was one of the busiest on the CFA calendar.
The show welcomes thousands of guests over the three days and to accommodate the vast numbers of visitors, CFA deploy 14 members of staff including 2 supervisors. Work starts as early as 4am for some members of the team and finishes at 7pm for all, this is an extremely long day, so staff are kept refreshed with bacon sarnies and cups of coffee.
These shows do not just come together over night, it takes months of planning from the team here so we were delighted to get fantastic feedback again from the showground staff. The staff even said that it was the best show that we had carried out for them, so we are really pleased with the results and looking forward to next year already.
